About URS Northern Territory

Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory which enjoys a tropical, easy going lifestyle in the north of Australia. It has a population of 120,000 and is the regional centre for northern Australia. The Northern Territory and in particular Darwin is experiencing strong growth in infrastructure, defence, mining and gas industry projects. The Darwin office has around 20 employees with a high proportion of young professionals and has a social and supportive work environment.

Key professional services provided include civil and environmental engineering, hydrogeology and hydrology, site contamination assessment and remediation, environmental impact assessment, environmental management systems, project permitting and approvals. Key areas serviced by the office are the mining, gas, defence and development sectors, as well as government.

In the Darwin office, we hold a company membership to our local sailing club which provides a venue for watching magnificent sunsets while enjoying a drink and good food. As well as servicing the Northern Territory, Darwin provides assistance to other states in addition to Timor and Indonesia.
