The URS Perth office is a friendly and culturally diverse environment, with around 100 talented employees working on a wide range of projects. Perth is in an exciting growth phase, experiencing significant economic progress, productivity, investments and exports and this is expected to continue well into the future. A small contingent of five environmental and engineering consultants make up the URS Singapore office, which is also supported and serviced by Perth.

The Perth office has a long history of working on award winning and high profile projects including the multi-million dollar upgrade of Port Geraldton, one of Australia’s major trading ports, and consulting to global mining companies such as BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto. The opportunities for URS Perth to be involved in world class engineering and environmental projects are endless.

A healthy cultural environment is important to us in the Perth office. In 2007 we introduced a “Work Smarter Not Harder” campaign which encompasses this very philosophy. For example each month the Perth office has themes which look at areas such as developing your career to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Recent office refurbishments have also lifted the morale of staff. Changes include a new break out area boasting a library, coffee machine and comfortable lounges to unwind in.
